Here at Monroe Country Day School we personalize each student's education by identifying individual personal goals, needs and interests. We maintain a small classroom environment where our students learn through experience, hands-on projects, cooperative learning activities and integrated curriculum. Our teachers place a strong emphasis on problem solving and critical thinking. They teach for understanding as opposed to rote knowledge. The education our students receive prepares them for social responsibility and democracy while emphasizing lifelong learning. Emphasis on family engagement is also at the core of who we are. Student success is sustained with support from parents engaging with their children.
